The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) has once again been recognized by Association Conventions & Facilities magazine as one of the best convention centers in the country.
The OCCC was voted by the publication’s subscribers and is a 2017 Distinctive Achievement Award winner, an honor the center also received last year.
“We always love being recognized by industry publications for the commitment and service we bring to our clients,” said Kathie Canning, the Orange County Convention Center’s Executive Director. “But receiving an award voted upon by other industry professionals shows we’re at the top of our game and delivering on our promise to be the Center of Hospitality.”
The magazine’s 10th annual awards recognize those hotels, resorts, conference centers, convention centers and convention and visitors bureaus that have demonstrated their overall commitment to excellence.
The publication’s subscriber base of more than 20,000 people were offered an opportunity to vote for their industry favorites as defined by the following qualifications: Superior Service and Support; Top-Notch Assistance with Promotion, Accommodations and Site Inspections; High Level of Assistance to Identify and Liaison with Suppliers, Vendors, Facilities, Venues and Local Government; and Outstanding Communication and First-Rate Web Site
Award winners will be formally announced in the August/September edition of the magazine in a special section.
