Campus Improvements

After three decades of activity, the OCCC has embarked on its largest renovation project in history: a five-year, Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) which will ensure an even stronger foundation for its next thirty years and beyond. This is a time of great transformation and reinvention for the OCCC. Our team has listened to client and stakeholder feedback and we are responding. Based on this input, improvements to the OCCC facility range from life safety upgrades and roof replacements to enhanced technology networks and the repurposing of underused meeting spaces.

Also being introduced to the OCCC as part of its CIP, digital and wayfinding signage have been installed and provide a strong visual backdrop to our dynamic facility.

The area around the OCCC demonstrates an exciting synergy between the facility and nearby businesses. A new pedestrian bridge across International Drive to the Hyatt Regency Orlando, transportation improvements, lodging, dining, retail and entertainment offerings have pushed the convention center to a new level of excellence.
