ORLANDO, Fla. – As North America’s premier location for safe in-person events, tradeshows and conventions, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) is harnessing the momentum of past successes by launching its new campaign, Business Better than Usual with an inspiring video featuring OCCC employees and its safe and expansive 400-acre campus.

OCCC Proves its Community Dedication

The Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) continues to demonstrate its dedication to the local community by giving back and supporting local organizations. The General Council of the Assemblies of God USA recently hosted its bi-annual meeting in Orlando welcoming an estimated 19,000 attendees with an estimated economic impact of $48.9 million. The group graciously donated 39 bookcases to the Center, 14 of which were donated to Orange County’s Great Oaks Village.

Ace Retailers Grateful To Be Back In-Person for Fall 2021 Convention

For the first time in over 18 months, Ace Hardware retailers from around the country came together in-person for the Fall 2021 Ace Hardware Convention. The convention was held Sept. 21-23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. After holding its Spring 2020, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 conventions online, being in-person was a welcome change.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The General Council of the Assemblies of God USA recently hosted its bi-annual meeting in Orlando, welcoming an estimated 19,000 attendees with an estimated economic impact of $48.9 million. The group donated 39 bookcases to the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), 14 of which were then re-donated to Orange County’s Great Oaks Village.

GBAC STAR practices and precautions are convention centers’ new “business better than usual”

While it may be some time before all is back to “normal,” convention center teams in the South have noticed that increased health and safety practices have been highly beneficial in staging successful trade shows and expos.
