MOTIVATED BUYERS AT THE ORLANDO BOAT SHOW

MOTIVATED BUYERS AT THE ORLANDO BOAT SHOW

The Marine Industry Association of Central Florida (MIACF) hosted the Orlando Boat Show Aug. 12-14 at the Orange County Convention Center. The highly anticipated show featured 22 of Central Florida's top boat dealers representing more than 80 manufacturers with approximately 400 boats on display.

“Show attendance continues to ebb and flow with current social and economic conditions, yet serious boaters and buyers are taking advantage of new offerings and extra incentives only available during the show from dealers such as extended warranties, service packages, waived dockage, enhanced electronics and accessory packages,” said David Ray, executive director of the MIACF.

Paul Berube, Partner-sales for Boaters Exchange added, “The Orlando Boat Show was very good for us and customers expressed an excellent buying temperament.”

“Attendance at this event indicates that the public still has a great interest in boating and the boating lifestyle. Sales exceeded our expectations,” noted Joe Lewis, general manager of Mount Dora Boating Center & Marina.

2022 Upcoming Shows

Save the date for the Daytona Boat Show on Sept. 16-18, 2022 at the Ocean Center-Daytona Beach.

Created in 1989, the Marine Industry Association of Central Florida (MIACF) is a not-for-profit trade organization focused on the sound growth of the marine industry for the benefit of its members and their customers, local communities, and the environment.  MIACF is comprised of more than 30 members in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties and is the owner of the Orlando Boat Show and the Daytona Beach Boat Show.
