Orange County Convention Center Welcomes Leading Auto Glass Industry Event

Orlando, FL (June 23, 2021) – Auto Glass Week™ (AGW), the only worldwide event created and designed specifically for the auto glass original equipment (OE) and aftermarket, repair and replacement industries, welcomed 1,500 attendees to the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) from June 7-9, 2021.

“We are thrilled to welcome Auto Glass Week to the Center of Hospitality for the first time,” said OCCC Executive Director Mark Tester. “With numerous rescheduled and relocated conventions and trade shows coming to Orlando, we look forward to building our relationship with Auto Glass Week and look forward to hosting them again in the future.”

Auto Glass Week™ hosted hundreds of industry leaders from a wide range of backgrounds as they gathered to enhance their businesses, interact with peers and learn new techniques of the trade. The power-packed event generated nearly $4 million in economic impact for the community, with attendees traveling from around the world to attend.

The event, co-located with the International Window Film Conference and Tint-Off™ (WFCT), also featured all segments of the window, security, decorative and paint protection film industries for quality education and business building. Both events included nail-biting competitions to determine the world’s best technicians in automotive repair, replacement, and automotive and architectural tinting.

“We were very pleased with the service and hospitality we received from the OCCC team,” said Debra Levy, Managing Director of AGW and WFCT. “We were able to adhere to all safety protocols and our onsite attendees were thrilled to finally be able to gather following the long hiatus.”

The OCCC is continuing to do Business Better than Usual as they welcome new and returning clients. Guided by its expert knowledge of hosting clean and safe events, the Center is ushering in a new era of conventions, trade shows and live events.
