Orange County
Convention Center maintains grounds using
water-conservation methods
The
Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) uses
reclaimed water for landscaping irrigation, has
utilized Xeriscape™ plantings, and is in
the process of pilot testing
waterless urinals and low-flow faucets within
restroom facilities to assist with the OCCC’s
water-conservation efforts.
OCCC water-conservation projects include:
• 100%
reclaimed water for irrigation
•
Installation of drip
irrigation system
• Utilizing
Xeriscape™ planting principles
• Pilot
testing low-flow,
metering water faucets and waterless urinals in
restrooms
